Visits to the Sick
If you or a friend is housebound and would like a visit from the clergy, please contact us using the details at the bottom of the page. At your request, the priest can provide the Sacrament of Holy Communion. If you are in hospital, there are separate arrangements which you can read about here.
RCIA for Adults joining the Catholic Church
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process for adult converts to Catholicism, whether originally from a different Christian denomination, a different faith, or no faith at all. If you would like to sign up for the RCIA course at St. Anthony’s then please contact the parish priest using the contact details at the bottom of the page.
Baptisms
If you would like your child to be baptised at St. Anthony’s, please contact the parish priest using the contact details at the bottom of the page. If you live outside of the parish boundaries or are not regularly active in our parish, you will need to ask for permission from your regular parish priest for this Sacrament to be administered at our church.
Weddings
The church requires six months’ notice of a wedding. If you would like to get married at St. Anthony’s, please contact Father Emmanuel using the contact details at the bottom of this page. Father will contact you to meet with you as a couple. You are encouraged to sign up for one of the local marriage preparation days run by Marriage Care. Please click here for their online booking system.
- You will also need to contact Oxfordshire Registration Service in good time to give notice of your intention to marry.
- Couples who are planning to marry abroad or elsewhere in the UK should also give at least six months’ notice.
